Clash detection
Clash detection is the most used feature of the BIM. This feature is very important and this feature saves the most money to the client through solving all hard and soft clashes in the design phase. As a result of this phase, you should have clash free models and shop drawing which will not contain any clash on the construction site. If the contractor performs construction by the shop drawing exported from the BIM you will not have RFI and holding on the site because of clashes.
Clash detection test will be performed in Autodesk Navisworks and resolved in Autodesk Revit software. Input for us is usually clash matrix for soft clearances and our output (if we are not designers on your project) will be clash detection reports with a suggestion how you can solve clashes quickly with respect to design rules.
